  I was the youngest of eight children and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I received a financial education at the age of seven when I began helping with the family newspaper route. This was the start to a lifelong interest in finances that would later motivate me to obtain a degree in economics and finance. Real estate intrigued me as well, and at the age of twelve I asked my mother to inquire about purchasing some Florida investment property. Nothing materialized from our search but it would foreshadow the future. I moved to Florida in 1983 for college and would make Orlando my home in 1989. This was the year I began purchasing real estate. I have invested in single family residences, duplexes, beach condominiums and vacant lots and have financed these properties in a myriad of ways including fixed-rate and adjustable mortgages, combo loans, owner financing, home equity loans, cash transactions, and 1031 tax deferred exchanges. I have also sold a number of properties using various financial strategies. It is this rare combination of personal and professional experience, in addition to my innate passion for real estate financing, that propels me to the highest level in my field.
